I have placed puppies with some of the same people as the self proclaimed breeders of 'better' dogs. These heartbroken people came to me after losing Keeshonden from a couple of different breeders, of allegedly better dogs, to cancers and/or seizure disorders. They feel mislead, that they paid for something they did not receive. They thought they were paying for a healthier puppy but got one that didn't live more than 2-5 years. This shows that disease and disorder happens in even the supposedly better dogs or tested bloodlines. I mention these incidents because some health issues can not be tested for and for a breeder to claim their dogs will live longer and be healthier than all of the others available to you is just not true. My Babies are born in my Master bedroom Suite where they stay for 4-5 weeks in order to receive maximum attention and affection from me, my kids and their Mom. They then move to the living room to be exposed to cats, all of the sounds of an active household and other dogs so they are ready for the real world by 8 weeks of age. As a result they have super friendly human bonded personalities, no anxiety and an affection for cats and kids. Add their stunning, easy to maintain coats and superior intelligence and you have the perfect Keeshond. Truly home raised with the family, fed Fromm Holistic foods, socialized with cats and pre-spoiled by friends, family and children. You won't find a happier, healthier, better socialized Keeshond puppy. ALL of my dogs have tested Negative for PHPT which means every puppy I have ever produced is PHPT Negative by decent. There is no other companion Keeshond breeder that I know of who has had that kind of result. Many breeders have not tested all of their dogs, if any. Don't buy non PHPT tested puppies, the cheaper price isn't worth the broken heart of losing your beloved companion to this disease. All new puppy parents receive copies of the results of the parents health tests. All of my dogs are seen by my Vet in her office for yearly exams, vaccinations and they are on a year round monthly dosing schedule of Sentinel for the prevention of Fleas, Heartworms and Intestinal Parasites. All puppies receive a Veterinarian exam, first dose of Sentinel for Fleas, Heartworm and Intestinal Parasite prevention and first vaccination. Shipping available.
